Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate registration information, protect account credentials, and ensure that authorised users comply with these Terms. The Account Owner is responsible for plan selection, billing decisions, user invitations, unit access, and activity performed through the account.

2. Subscription plans and access

Basic and Premium provide the features described on the current Pricing and Features pages. One initial business unit is included. Additional Team Members, Recipe Viewers, and unit access may create recurring add-on charges shown before payment. Recipe Viewer access is scoped by unit.

3. Prices, VAT and recurring billing

Displayed subscription prices include VAT. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or yearly billing period until cancellation is scheduled. Stripe processes payments and may require billing details and payment authentication. The final checkout summary controls if it differs from general marketing copy.

4. Plan changes and cancellation

Eligible users may upgrade or manage subscriptions through StockWisely’s authorised billing workflow. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid billing period, and access normally continues until that period expires.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or availability, upload unlawful or malicious material, reverse engineer protected components, or use StockWisely in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

7. Customer data

You retain ownership of data you submit. You authorise us and our processors to host, process, back up, and transmit that data as necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have authority to upload and process your business data.

8. Service availability and changes

We may perform maintenance, release updates, change features, or temporarily restrict access for security and operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Material subscription changes will be communicated where required.

9. Third-party services

StockWisely relies on third parties such as hosting, email, analytics, payment, and optional AI service providers. Their availability and separate terms may affect related functionality.

10. Intellectual property

StockWisely, its software, branding, designs, documentation, and original content remain owned by us or our licensors. No ownership is transferred except for the limited right to use the service during an active authorised subscription.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

StockWisely supports operational costing and stock management but does not replace accounting, tax, legal, food-safety, or other professional advice. Calculations depend on the accuracy and completeness of customer data.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, material breach, security threats, unlawful use, or where required by law. Data handling following termination is described in the Privacy Policy and any confirmed retention schedule.
